@frozenuxx @balrogbane Because the scores aren't intended to be compared cross platform. The idea is that the games are scored individually, and not to be compared with another genre. Just because Smash got a 9.0 and Goat Simulator didn't doesn't mean that Goat Simulator is inferior. This is to be said about anything that is "rated", and any individual score should be considered for those who own the medium, not those who don't have interest.
@hitomo Marvel vs Capcom for poor people? My dreamcast MvC cost me a whopping $12. That being said, I personally think that Smash is a wonderful party game, but it isn't an actual fighting game in the sense that Street Fighter or King of Fighters is, and other 20 year fighting game vets would likely agree.
It is a truly wonderful game though, and I love owning it. Nintendo doing what it does best, making timeless resonating titles.
