I just got the ps3 (80g)and wii this week and currently have Ratchet and Clank, Singstar (ps3), mario party 8, super paper mario, wii play, wii sports, and motorstorm (bundled with ps3). I rented Call of Duty 4 last night and seemed to like it, but are there any "must haves" that I need? Keep in mind, I AM a girl, so even though I kinda liked Call of Duty.... it' not usually the type of game I play.

I didnt get a chance to get the router last night, but Im on my way out in a bit to get it. I do have ratchet and clank....I really enjoyed it on ps2, so I figured I couldnt go wrong with that. I also rented Call of Duty 4 which seems pretty fun.... I may buy it. But all in all, I havent really had a good chance to play yet because we also got a wii and have spent a ton of time on it! I will give my ps3 some lovin tonight for sure =)

I kind of want to go wireless though, because I dont want a long ethernet cord going all throughout my house....since my computer is in one room and my wii and ps3 are in the living room. Yeah, I guess I should have metioned I'll be hooking up a wii too. Does this make a difference?

Thanks for responding so quickly. I dont think I have a router, but it IS blue and black... I think its just a modem though. Then again, I get suckered into buying more expensive crap that I have no idea what it does. Let's assume that it's just a modem though.( hopefully, cuz if it IS a modem/router I'll be wasting some loot)

2. Hook router up to modem using ethernet cable?

3. Turn on ps3 and do all the settings as descibed above??
