Universal still continuously poops out these generic "haunted doll" and "a lethal entity" movies based upon urban legends and whatnot ehh? Why not adapting something a bit beyond generic single beings and instead use better material from creepypasta or SCP, even if it's sci-fi. With all respect, I would love to see russian sleep experiment, no end house and many countless, plot wise great horror adaptations (yes, Slender man take was garbage) instead of cheap jumpscares overstuffed boring sequels.
@peterhorner1867: I strongly disagree. FC4 felt like a reskinned copycat with more bland story than FC3 and FC5 only succeeded for it's thrilling setting and perhaps slightly better story. All in all, they are copycats you want to admit this fact or not. The latest AC entries completely withdrawn the necessary aesthetic of stealth and abandoned the usual plotline. I don't pity for this, but Odyssey and Origins felt more like historical ride rather than experience focused strictly on the first branches of established orders.
@mdinger: Frankly speaking I'm happy Legends wasn't merged into current canon despite some character appearances (Bane in Clone Wars, Revan as in Galaxy of Heroes etc.), because Disney would have fucked up countless characters (say Exar Kun, Revan) and important eras (hence timeline inconsistency, but still notable events happened that shaped up whole SW Galaxy).
Wasn't that predictable since they annouced it in the works? People shouldn't be upset by Sony's underwhelmed Marvel+Sonyverse. Same faith is waiting for Morbius and other projects. After such failure I doubt Venom will turn into trilogy (perhaps reaching Venom 2).
Yeah sure, only if game was itself decently made (PUBG existance implies towards adulthoods and less of a cartoonish population), not this family friendly bullshit every 9 year old consume, which 40% of that playerbase is surrounded by adolescence age or child age kids.
