[QUOTE="incubusoccer"]OK... in HD there are 720 or 1080 lines of resolution in the pic. The Hz rating is how many times per second the television refreshes those lines. So on a standard HD, it will refresh ur pic 60 times per sec. 120Hz will give you smoother motion, but the 360 doesn't support 120Hz. The only way to do 120Hz is with a blu-ray that supports 24p = 24 fps. for good response time look at the sharp lcd's (4ms response) and the sony xbr's (4-5ms response, also the BEST lcd u can get at a resonable price.)primehunter326

Yeah I was also gonna point that out. The 360 can only render a maximum of 60 frames per second. The only time when refresh rate could be an issue is if you have a refresh rate that's lower than the framerate of the game, in which case you would get screen tearing. So while having a high (60+) refresh rate on the tv does make it faster, it won't affect the appearence of games because the 360 is locked at a maximum framrate.

Oh and Hertz and refresh rate are the same thing, hertz means cycles and in the casee of a display each cycle is one refresh of the screen so that it can display another image. Response time is the time it takes for the display the image it gets from the source. I'm just pointing this out because there seems to be some confusion here.

Actually HZ and refresh rate are completly different. refresh rate is how quickly the pixels on the TV can shift from black to white and back to black. So even at 60Hz, the refresh rate does matter. The lower the response time the less "ghosting" you will see on fast motion.

Most of the time it is going to be an exclusive game/microsoft game, but also, look how long it took to get oblivion and stuff to platinum. as soon as COD3 dropped, COD2 goes platinum... it will be 60 untill bioshock2 comes out.

Riiiiggggghhhhht....... If I could find a game guide, I wudn't be posting here... also, that video doesn't go past the fire, which is where I happen to be... I have watched every video online and read everything I can find, but if any one has played through this part, and could tell me what i'm supposed to do that would be great.

I am soooo stuck at the section where you are in the room with all of the giant silver pistons and chain link around the top. It says "Over Here" on the wall, but I have no idea what to do in this room...

yea the gears host is SOOO over powered.  when i'm on somebody elses host im decent, on my host i am god.  it makes the game so unfair.  all you have to do is see who had the most kills at the end of the game and you know who host is.  it's still a great game though.  just hope they can fix the host advantage.

so it really doesn't matter since there is no way that you bought a PSP on the console.  Do some research before you start makin $#!% up.  when you ring up a 360 it doesn't even give you the option to sell a PSP.  The PSP would be through microsoft.  they are the ones that fix the system.  I work at BBY and the only thing that you can get a PSP on it a TV, computer, camera, etc... things that we can fix.  not systems.

first off it is possible to run 1080p w/ component cables.  also what of the rumors of the new 360 shipping with HD-DVD integrated.  THAT would be the main concern for current 360 owners, not some cable that most people wouldn't even be able to tell a difference with.  Also, the current disk drive on the 360 wouldn't let you run 1080p anyway.  that's why they made the HD-DVD attachment.  so quit worrying about the cable and start worrying about the disk drive.  that's what really matters.
