I always enjoyed the exotic locations in the previous instalments of the title(besides Primal which is duhh)and Montana doesn't qualify as an exotic location.
As for the controversy,there have been indeed similar cases of smaller extent in the USA in the past,but on the other hand,there have been so many more cases in the near past and present all over the world,of blind violence and hatred and murder enacted by a very specific group of fun loving people,that has nothing to do neither with the constitution of the US,nor with gun ownership,nor with Christianity.
Of course I understand the sh!t storm that would ensue if a game was made to actually depict the violent acts of said group and had you go after them.
Bashing Christians is so much more trendy and anodyne.
And there's no danger to be persecuted by actual religious nut job terrorists.
And of course every American who voted for Trump is a crazy bad person,and so are all the people worldwide that support strong democratic sovereign states.
