This is what baffles me about the playstation 3. They put alot of power, albiet stripped down compared to pc processors, in this machine but everything thusfar has been limited by the speed of the bluray drive. If they could boost the speed of the drive, other hardware upgrades would make sense. I really want to jump on to the playstation system but I think I'm willing to hold off until they revamp the hardware, in other words ps4 or ps3+ or whatever the newer iteration may be. All i know is I'm done with Microsoft's xbox 360, too expensive to own for my needs.
