I know God of War II was probably the last big game being made for the PS2, but if only they would come out with one more "big bang" game. I mean, Dawn of Mana looks cool and all, but the only part of the series I ever liked was on the SNES
Or do a lot of the games on the Wii seem a little too...half-hearted? I mean, the Wii is a GREAT game to play, but a lot of the games have gotten some pretty bad scores on this website. Seems like, to me at least, the third party developers are just rushing through the games just so they could sell it on the Wii. I have high hopes for the future releases though, let's hope it doesn't end up like another Spider-Man 3.
I hope they keep true to the Soul Calibur way and let you play as all the characters, with different storylines. That would make it an awesome game. It seems like a lot of games out there have potential, but are just too short and are completed in merely hours.
I kind of saw this coming, and I'm actually pretty excited to see what it's going to be like. Anybody think this'll be a flop? Or do you guys think that this'll actually be a pretty good turn away from the traditional SC's?
No chance. You should pick up the newest EGM... there's a whole spread on the future of gaming. They talk to a bunch of industry people and discuss where we'll be in 20 years. VERY interesting.decepticondevil

Yeah virtual boy did screw with your eye...I think there was a reason why it was only in red and black. I take it playing video games with some kind of visual helmet won't happen anytime soon eh? I've always wanted to try that game I saw in that Sinbad movie, I think it was called The First Kid. He was playing some kind of fully 3D game where everywhere you turned your head, you'd see the virtual world.
Does anybody remember Virtual Boy? I'm pretty sure Nintendo was the brain behind that atrocity, but since they made the Wii, you think their next-next-gen console might be somewhat similar to Virtual Boy? I think that'd be pretty cool, the only problem is that the number of seizure cases hospital have per year would increase.
