Thanks for that :) What about Weight/Height? Would 69 weight be optimal (+Sinew), would it fit for the best stamina regen? And Height - as high as possible?

[QUOTE="metadragon1"]I created an account JUST to post this: You who agree with the op are idiots. I don't usually act like this but this was infuriating. If you don't like the game, fine. But if your reasons are stupid, not fine. Every aspect you talked about was off the mark completely. And some of the things that you complained about had been heavily advertised since LONG before the game came out. We knew there wasn't going to be a "holy trinity" in this game or at the very least to any degree ever made before. If your complaints are that it is worse than WoW then go play WoW. This game is NOTHING like WoW. Incomparable. Actually forget it... I'm glad I won't ever run into you. Have fun playing WoW. And btw, easy? Have you tried a dungeon? No. I do not believe you have.cilayin

This game is terrible at such a fundamental level it's heart breaking. Guild wars 2 has NO end game. Well I should say it's ONLY end game is transmog. The fact that it's the only rewards you get for pvp, dungeons, fractals (Except for ascended gear, but for the most part.. It's transmog. Being that ALL of GW2's end game is transmog, most people have 1 or 2 sets in the whole game they'll like. Once they have that, what else is there to do? THERES NOTHING. Which is why so many people have stopped playing guild wars 2, there's simply no end game.

Read my forum post on the gw2 forums, its more in detail. But you need to stop being such a fan boy of GW2 and thinking it's Gods gift to MMO's and realize that it DOES have actual faults and has some serious problems that NEED to be fixed.

Couldn't edit my previous post. But this is exactly what GW2 problem is. And the fanboys.

Just like every new game that comes out these days, GW2 has some problems. But things like forums and feedback make them change and tweak and make it better. I have a lvl 80 and I would say that I'm impressed with this game. You just have to spend time with it, learn how ability mattering works, and always watch your position in PvP. I would agree that enemies in PvE are a cheap, and don't offer up a huge challenge, but raiding a fort in WvWvW when you have a large goup playing with you is quite satifying. Don't forget about all the mini-expansions and holiday events that Arenanet has provided for free. Classes actually differ a lot, especially when you get to lvl 80 and build your traits based off your play style for that class. For instance a ranger has pets, signets that effect the pet and the ultimately can be shared between you and your pet. Elementalists can equip numerous weapons and gain a possibility of 20 skills per weapon set due to the fact that elementalist have control of 4 different elements. Just because the game is not like WoW and you don't need to have a million skills on the screen to win does not make it a bad game.

Rhysis
You got it wrong, it has nothing to do with number of skills on-screen. At all. I played GW1. Few skill. LOTS of depth. Exiciting PvP. Not rly focused on PvE but still highly enjoyable. GW2 is just a step back in EVERY area. Cool, its a real MMO now, so what? PvP is just boring, WvWvW and public quests = pure zergfest, you just stand there with 100people/m2 and spam keyboard, how cool is that? Endgame is a joke in this game generally. Anyway I think I made my point in previous post, just scroll up. THE ONLY THING Guild Wars 2 does good is levelling. It's indeed something really really good, I don't think there's any other MMO game that does it better. But that's just it. And the problem is that in MMO you should START real game when you max your lvl, in GW2 you end it there. So if it's ok for you and you play MMO only to level up thanh this game is probably for you. I just don't get it why so many people are worshipping this game. It's pretty good for kids I guess. All shiny, no substance.

Hello,
I started playing a couple days ago only to find out that I didn't understand this game's lvling system at all. And for me knowing that I could've done my charr a lot more powerful is gamebreaking (yes, I know this game can be easily completed no matter how you build you charr). :(

1) So now I want to make best bow focused build possible (min/max). From what I've already learned that would go with:
1-10 -> fighter
10-200 -> assassin
and than I will be able to switch between Ranger and Assassin whenever I like to. This is the best way to level if I want those vocations, right?

2) Also, after hitting level 200, can I still gain Discipline points to level other vocations for their augments?

3) What would be the best Height/Weight for this kind of character? I tried to do some research on that but I have serious trouble deciding about that.

4) Pawn - I guess it would be
1-10 -> Mage
10-200 -> Sorcerer
or should I go for something else, tank perphaps?
And how about Pawn's Height/Weight? I've read smth about making it packmule etc, what would be the best choice?

And I'm not sure if I understand Inclinations mechanics. Only 2 highest inclinations affect pawn's behaviour?
These questions you have to answer when creating pawn matter in the end or you can change everything with some consumables (dont remember name of that stuff)?

Is there anything else important to know about pawn creation/lvling?

I'll rly appreciate help here,
Thanks in advance!

They messed something up with that one. Go to https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/ , find it, add to cart and checkout. Than go to transaction management, download list (on your PS3) and download it. Worked for me. Enjoy the game.

U mad bro? Don't hate just because the games not about 1. Go get gear. 2 Go get gear. 3 Win in PVP because you have the better gear. People who hate guild wars 2 most of the time just hate it because its skill based and not gear based. The people who only play like 30 minutes a day can still beat the people who play it like its their life unlike in games like WoW where the person who has the best gear wins.mohican18
I really love Guild Wars 2 fanboys :D

Next time do your self a favor and wait for a trial to come out. It's easy to see if you like a game for the first hour of playing.Guerdonmyth

Sorry to say that, but that's **** Guild Wars 2 can make a really good first impression and it gets worse the longer you play it. I tought it was great at first too, but than I levelled my character up to lvl 80. PvE in this game is complete garbage - dungeons are hard? Srsly? They are not hard at all, they are simply retarded. If you aren't good you will just keep "die->respawn->run to boss->do some dmg->die->repsawn..." WTF? Respawning during boss fights? This is ridiculous. That's probably the worst idea I've ever seen in any mmo. When you'll understand the mechanics (when to double tap to dodge) you just won't die that much/at all. And it's same for explorables.

Another thing is that dungeons are NOT REWARDING AT ALL. You don't get items from them, you only get tokens that can net you gear that only LOOKS a bit cooler. And that's when you GRIND IT, A LOT, oh and you have to grind THE SAME boring dungeon OVER AND OVER AGAIN to get a set. How cool is that?

No roles model really sucks, I don't want to write an essay here so it's just my opinion. Works bad.

PvP is messy, lacks depth - it was SO much better in GW1, interrupting spells etc where's all that? I'm sure people who played GW1 know what I mean.

I could mention a lot more reasons why this game is overrated, but it's waste of time. I'll get attacked by some fanboys anyway so I'm not gonna waste more time on that. If you're wondering whether to buy this game or not, I strongly advice against it, this is not a good MMO.

Bottom line - DISAPPOINTING. I really wanted to like it, but it's not possible. At least for me.

Cheers

Hi,

I'd like some opinions on the PS3 frame rate issues with this game - some reviews say it doesn't affect gameplay at all, some say it can hurt it. After buying Borderlands 2 for my PS I started to get a little paranoid about issues like that - this game is completely broken (my first game I regret buying cause of TERRIBLE frame rate). And reviews pretty much skipped this part...

At first I couldn't decide between XCOM PC (just cause of modding available) and PS3 version (I prefer playing on consoles and from what I've read console versions are just as complex as PC, confirm?). After playing PC demo with 20-30 fps (i guess about 27 most of the time) I started to lean towards PS3 version (I don't really care about graphics, I just want my game to run smoothly). But surprise, seems like it's not that good either. So in this case which version should I pick? Will PS3 still run smoother despite the issues mentioned in some reviews?

If you could tell me about your impressions on that matter and whether PS3 frame rate drops affect gameplay in any way (for example multiplayer when you have to make your moves quickly) or it's more like "plays excellent, could look better"? Frame rate drops only occur in between turns (zoom in shooting etc), when you don't actually do anything?

I'll be grateful for help!

Hello. I want to buy a fighting game and I can't decide which one :). I am thinking about BlazBlue Calamity Trigger, Super Street Fighter 4 or Tekken 6. I'm quite interested with BB, but im not sure how the online mode works - are there many players on PlayStation Nerwork? And what about lags? Thanks for any advice. I'll be grateful :D.
