Keyboard and mouse = 4-8 directions of movement only with 1 or 2 speeds.

Controller = 256 directions of movement with 256 different speeds.

K/M = EASY pointing

Controller = challenging pointing with a more gun like feel, thanks to having a trigger to pull.

I prefer Controllers BY FAR...  but everyone has their opinion.

In head to head matches..  Controller users have beaten K/m users.

Mystikef

1. actually you have infinite direction movement with correspondence to where you are aiming your mouse.

2. a controller doesn't come close to replicating a gun like feel

3. show me a video of a controller user is beating a k/m user

[QUOTE="TOAO_Cyrus1"]They way I see it with console FPS's the difference between a expert and a noob is how well you manipulate the controller. With PC's FPS's its how well you play the GAME. Controlls should be effertless. Challenge should come from great well designed gameplay not clumsey controlls. The_Game21x

oh...so a mouse just makes you extremely skilled at aiming and have great reflex to pick some one dd from t spawn on dust 2?

no

A noob it a console FPS's cant even hit someone standing in front of him. With PC FPS's anyone with no experience can aim and hit someone. The challenge comes with great gameplay.

my 7 year old cousin takes 1st on halo 2 with level 20's

he played cs for 2 hours and didn't get a single kill

gg

Two very different games.

there both fps

Oh wow. What a great argument.

I guess the multiplayer in James Bond: Nightfire is exactly the same as Quake 4 because they're both FPS.

i let him play in the NFO TDM server

there you go...now its about the same

[QUOTE="BumFluff122"]PCs do not take more skill than Consoles in FPSs. Using an analog stick to move a cursor on a screen while using your other hand to control where you are going is quite a lot harder than merely pointing and clicking with the mouse and pressing N,E,W and S to move. The_Game21x

NEWS ????

and btw, aim assist takes away all that "ZOMG ITS SO HARD TO USE"

AIM ASSIST IS NOT IN EVERY CONSOLE FPS!

When are you going to realize that? If it is, most of the time, it's optional and can be turned off.

name one besides PDZ

Rainbow Six 3, Unreal Championship 1 and 2, Halo CE, and your favorite game, Counter Strike. I would name more but I don't feel like it.

counterstrike on xbox

terrible

it is so dumbed down compared to the PC version *hit box wise* which comes under the aim assist category

Excuses.

its the only game i played on xbl before halo 2 came out

nice try though

Honestly my main thing is that I use a computer all day at work and when I get home I like to relax with a controller. Sure m/k is more accurate but like the other guy said if you all use the same device then what does it matter? Kwazy1981
MNK allow for a higher degree of skill level to be shown

REFLEX

AND PRECISION AIMING
