@forbiddenmow The sadness (and agony) is that the best story and progression is laid out in the original text The action is there. The story is compete. They just have to use the real story and characters, timeline, etc. first and then build a little gaming into the mix. They cannibalize the best part and hand over the carcass to a handful of "worker bees" to "make some money and make it snappy". They milk out the money material before trying to go get the money. AND they have the rights to the franchise. The franchise is valuable because of the story, so lets gut the story and try to profit from the franchise. The snake is eating the tail and my wheels are stuck in the mud but the crazy train is leaving the station and I ain't got time for the pain because someone let the deal go down and the dish ran away with the spoon.
@gamefreak215jd Honestly, I am gonna go out and buy this with my mom's tip money because you are honest, and it looks good to you. Why don't I already have this game?!?!?! (toes curl here)
@dbene @hazefowl @nameaprice Destiny and LoR are fresh reviews by the same reviewer, so it is fair to compare and contrast. It is not sour grapes. I am quite confident in my ability to judge for myself without needing to be spoon fed payola driven shim sham to decide how to spend $60. Does that make sense, dude man pally wally?
@nameaprice @hazefowl I am glad you have found a reviewer that makes you so happy. You must have so much in common with Kevin VanOrd. Two peas in a pod, right pally? How does the beard feel when you pay tribute?
The idea that J.R.R. Tolkien game lacks good narrative is enough to keep me out, because it means that they have taken one of the best narrative pieces of literature published in the 20th century and reduced it to trite crapadopolous. The idea that a gamespot reviewer would rate this effort at a higher level than Destiny is laughable. This website should be embarrassed shilling this franchise milking jib jab as a worthy investment compared to so many games. I can't wait for the 10 review you are sure to give to "Falling Skies, the video game". I can almost taste the yack yack.
An article about the psychology of an under used, under trafficked message board, breaking down whether or not the fairly anonymous posters may or may not be posting false or misleading comments. All sizzle and no steak. WTF.....
