I have been renting it for the last week but i am also now going to buy it.

I love it and i also do love the flag collecting so that does make it a much bigger game.

Sorry to say i am getting it on the 360 than the PS3, lucky enough to have both systems and once again it is a better game on the 360.

maybe 2008 will be the year the PS3 stops getting kicked in the nuts.

The only people i have ever booted from a game have been Americans, that is not to say all are bad, far from it, it is just a fact that the few people I have ever booted have been Americans.

I have to also say American kids seem to have really squeaky voices (to European Ears anyway), and that seems to make them even more annoying than other kids.

I don't see the gamerpoints as any kind of a status symbol or anything, I am just a fanatical completionist. The kind of guy that has to keep playingan rpguntil I completely leveled everything and got all weapons, items, etc. It's just obsessive compulsive for me.joshmiller333

With you there brother, just went past 10,000 on Christmas Day, felt like a great Christmas present.

I have a PS3 and a 360 and I find myself always buying the 360 version as i will get achievment points, it may be a gimmick or dumbarse to some but it floats my boat, I love trying to get them.

Got both a PS3 and a 360 and you are living in denial guys if you think the PSN network is better or even equal to Xbox live.

If it was they would not be bringing out home.

Cool that its free but you would not pay for so little functionality anyway and Sony know that or they probably would also charge.

There is no reason why the Sony in time will not be equal or even beat Xbox live, just because Microsoft have had a head start does not mean they have won the race, but at the moment it is simply a queation of you get what you pay for and if you pay nothing you get nothing.

The good thing is in being forced into not being able to charge for the PSN it hopefully means when it gets better they will not be able to charge without losing a lot of face.

They would have to hope Microsoft do not make it a free service as that would make it even worse for them.

The lag issue is nonsenese i have played smoothly on both systems and played with terrible lag on both systems, its just down to the game , the number of people online and the spread of people from around the world in the game, have to say I have played on both a lot and rarely found any lag so you may find its your own setup thats causing you problems rather than Live or PSN.

Before i sold my old 360 as I had got an elite i connected both up together one via Component and one with HDMi and all going into my 42in Hitachi plasma. I could flip between the two and I have to say i thought the difference was very obvious, the colours were richer through HDMI and the menus also looked a lot sharper.

I would really recommend HDMI

I suggest you check those files' sound codecs, could be something weird.

Well they are all HD WMV files of games downloaded from Gamespot so i assume they should all work.

But no matter, Sony will sort it out I am sure.
