@gamerbum: it was close but GTAIII beat it out in 2001. I agree with you that Halo CE should have got it but GTAIII was a very revolutionary game back at that time.

Ugh what a mess. Was the decision to delay the game motivated by reactions during the reveal? If not, why paint such an unflattering picture of the game? Why buy an Xbox Series X in November now?? This was the supposed to catapult the launch sales much like Breath of the Wild did for the Switch. An absolute disaster, PS5 is going to get a massive head start.
