What are you talking about, Infinity Ward has the rights to Modern Wafair, not anything made after Vietnam, Activision could make a seriess called future warfair and infinity ward has no cliam to it.
well that ruins my day, i guess the industry tends not to think about how this will also effect the people that buy the games new as well. I buy almost all of my games new, when i really love a game i will keep it but of all the rest i trade in. All the money i get from trade in's helps me buy more new games. If im only giong to get like 5 to 10 dollars on trade in's after this next generation of consoles comes out im not giong to trade games in. That means that instead of taking a chance on alot of new IP's im giong to have to pick and choose about what games im giong to buy, because i dont have the higher trade in cash to buy more new games. Witch means i will be buying less games over all. and i dont have the money to take chances on New IP's than there is 0% chance that if its good game and they make a sequal, i wont know to buy it cause i never purchased the first game. (Good Example Darksiders 1 purchased new, i will now purchase the 2nd because i iked it, but i would have never picked it up if i did not have trade in cash on my gamespot card.)so i really dont think that teh industry is really thinking this through.
i agree with Mordraneth, yet i dont steal the games there should be a finished demo that is 100% like the retail version thats gives you the feel of a game
Togo2828 i agree with you on some of these points but still there are few real games and the rest are like crossword puzzle games and games like that, plus i have to pay more for the option to go online and download apps. also dont knock the DSI and PSP there more than just gaming consoles the DSI has the DSI store, and i just downloaded the internet for free no monthly fee eather. plus i can chat with text message with the DSI (and people Seem to be in love with texting people even thought they have a phone ) , im not going to even mention all the stuff the PSP can do.
as soon as the numbers came out a few years ago that the gaming industry was making more money than the movie industry every person wants a peace of the pie. thats why the i phone was made. that why ill stick with the PSP and DS. the iphone is just a tool to make money from a Co. that has yet to enter the gameing industry. they have no intention of making quality games. ill stick with the DS and PSP they have real games not like the i phone
whatever just cause there are a few bad apples does not mean that every kid who plays is going to be an addict, i play over 20 hours a week i run my own insurance business i work about 45-50 hours a week im getting married and buying a house and i still chill with my friend on the weekends. if anything gaming is helping me not spend money on stupid stuff like drugs and going out every night to eat and drink. now i have money to buy a house cause i dont spend all my time ( just some of it ) partying. i mean playing to many game is equal to reading to may books or waching to much TV or doing anything you enjoy to much. a soon as someone does something to much than there will always be someone there to point there finger and say addiction. it realy all comes down to people who dont like vedio games will have negitive thing to say about them. in this case they will call us addicts.
its funny how many of you care so much about your DS and want to hate on the DSI i mean does it really upset you that much it plays the same games it just has a few upgrades to it.
i dont no why people hate on vista iv had it for a over a year and have no problems to report, as for 7 im not that impressed with the new features, a 26 start up time apposed to a 33, that 7 sec differance, big deal if it started up in like 5 sec than i would be impressed as for the rest of the features there nothing, at least nothing to be so darn excited about like gamespot is.
