I didnt ask for your opinion on the game, but rather if you're annoyed by the fact that the hot topic section of my ps3 homescreen is flooded by LBP threads. I understand wanting to discuss the games but most of the threads are the same, i think maybe the posting mods need to pay a little more attention?

Yeah i did make another one, but its more about the annoyance of threads rather than the game itself. Just started getting tired and didnt see the reason for all the hype

I understand alot of people are excited about the game, but come on I feel like everyone on gamespot is obsessed with it. I think the concept is cool and all but I don't have time and patience to make elborate levels like some i've seen from the beta on youtube and other sites. I also think the novelty will wear off after a month or so and it'll just be a hassle making things. This is just my opinion but there are OTHER games coming out, so talk about a few of them once in a while? this whole LBP craze is driving me nuts

Far Cry 2 looks great, same with fallout 3

and if youre interested in waiting a bit, get tom clancy's endwar if you like rts, or the new prince of persia if you enjoy adventure acrobatic fighting games

that or get the new COD

those are all on my list between now and boxing day haha

if you don't get the game, you won't be able to entertain yourself and might end up going out, hanging out with friends, and eventually start doing drugs and start having pre-marital sex which will make your parents grandparents in no time.

seriously whats wrong with parents thinking games are bad? its just a software program on a disk! its not like if you play resistance or whatever that you sudenly start imagining everyone is an alien and will go out and killing everyone, or if you play gears of war you will go out and chainsaw everyone! its just a damn game ment for fun and stuff! when i was like 10 i remember playing a horor game with lots of blood and stuff and i almost sh!ted in my pants but after that nothing is wrong, so wzup?

Have you ever read the news? Watched television? It may not be suddenly but it gives you satisfaction in doing those things. How often do we read that there was school shooting or a rampant juvenile crime spree that are linked to videogames. And whats the first thing most of us say? "Its not the videogame's fault its the stupid parents for not teaching their kids". Now we want to encourage a kid to go against the parents and play a violent videogame? Very Hypocritical.

Yeah but the people who are playing videogames and recreating those scenarios are probably poorly raised and mentally ill to begin with. Obviously the person who started this post has a good enough concious to respect his parents and not run off and get Resistance without telling them, so he's been raised well from what i've seen. So i'm sure something small like videogame violence isn't going to turn him into some crazed serial killer. Talk to your parents, run through the demo with them and explain to them that it's all purely for entertainment. Be sure you tell them that killing is not entertaining but the idea of being a hero that saves the world is. thats my best bet for you

thats why shooter is the most boring game ever, i still not getting bored of Burnout Paradise that game kick ass!!

thats just because u only play it like 2 hours by just renting the game, and we will get the update that will at alot of stuff, too bad ur not on the same boat ha ha!! enjoy ur boring game!

Burnout Paradise took time to realise that it is really fun game, i played it about 200 hours more and love it, it is boring at first, unlike most of the shooter fun at first boring after, and bought and take it back after week = renting

yeah the kid saying that burnout is amazing needs to go back to the 5th grade and learn proper sentence structure, grammer, and maybe realize that no one cares about how much he plays burnout?

talking of 6 stars has anyone escaped from 6? cause i did once when i didn't have the last island. I was in a boat and went to far across, but i managed to evade them just by gunning it up the channel and getting out of the circle.FatChuwawa

Yeah ive escaped 6 star chases loads of times, in the middle of the city

The funiest thing i've done probably happened last night. I was just messing around and stopped in the middle of the road, I pulled out my pistol and I was gonna shoot some guy in a car. Just a I was pulling the trigger, some dumbass speeding car hit me, resulting in my arm moving and the bullet went right in a cop's head:roll: and I flew a good ways into a building which resulted in instant death :D

I watched videos of the PC version and it looks really fun. If the have better graphics it should be a fun online experience
