As far as the laptop goes, you need to create a network bridge, then if you connect the ethernet cable to the 360 and the laptop it will work. if you don't know how to make a network bridge you can youtube it.

I would recomend just connecting your laptop to the xbox via ethernet cable then creating a network bridge on your laptop. So far this has worked great for my xbox, but the adapter probably works better, however this is much cheaper, especially considering an ethernet cable came with my xbox.Rohan1627

i'm not that familar with computers, but how do you create a network bridge from your laptop to your 360? cuz i'd like to try it and see if i can get it to work so that i can get online
