When I was talking about Icarus, I wasn't talking about the Disney movie version, although I can understand why you would get annoyed about people using the material from it.
I did say he was a small but important character, I know that he built Kratos' exit from Hell, and it's so obvious he was a God. I said he was a small character because you only saw him twice in the game, but he was probably one of the most important characters in the game.
Icarus is the guy who flew too close to the sun, somehow I doubt he'll be the final boss. Maybe he will be a boss in the game and you have to fly to catch him and then kill him. That would incorporate the new flying horse scenes we've seen and it would be quite an interesting fight.
