I think it was overall smart to make the xbox come with kinect. That way, every developer knows they can include kinect technology if they choose and 100% of xbox users will be able to use it.

I remember when people thought MS was outrageous for making Xbox Live ONLY broadband. MS has shown they are willing to innovate, not just get by/catch up on bare minimums.
