@gifford38: No, not every game...but Spiderman, Uncharted, God of War, The last of us, HZD, Bloodborne and Death stranding are all 3rd person action adventure open world games that just dont shout variety to me.
I didnt say the games were muddled.. I said the info coming out was.
Xbox: All x1 games will work bc and 2 more gens that work on x1 now will work day 1 on xsx.
Sony: We're testing thousands of games, most will work ... some wont. No time frame.
Ms: All x1 peripherals will work day one on xsx.
Sony: Nothing mentioned.
MS: If you buy an x1 game and that game is available on xsx, we offer the devs the choice to upgrade you to the xsx version free of charge.
Sony: No mention about crossbuy with ps5.
Ms: We are offering a custom 1tb expansion card at launch.
Sony: we are offering a custom 3rd party expansion card, hopefully at launch...it depends on 3rd party hardware.
MS: Dolby Atmos at launch.
Sony: 3d sound chip but we dont yet know how to implement it...maybe we'd take a photo of your ears. As it stands, observers have said untuned 3d audio is slightly better than stereo.
Ms: X1 doesnt become obsolete, all 1st party games launch on x1 for another 2-3 years.
Sony: Ps4 will continue to get 3rd party support.
first party games on 1x is a bad thing. developers that are using ssd from start makes it easier because of the slow speed of the hardrives. you will see it in the sony first party. there is so much they can cut out by using the ssd from the beginning. see ps5 will play ps4 games with enhancements just like series x but the difference is sony first party will not have to worry about the harddrive issues because they don't have to work on last gen systems. that is what is turning me off of the series x i don't want me next gen games start off with last gen systems then beefed up to look next gen. i mean say your hero in the game having less moves because last gen has limited a character can do in a game because of hardware. how many animations can happen in one screen.

The sp walkathons on ps5 rarely appeal to me, and the info coming out about ps5 is so muddled I'm defo not getting one at launch.
so every single open world game is a walkathon game? what info are you seeing were the games are muddled on ps5? what does that mean? Im hearing great things about ps5 easy to program for and still get 4k/60. developers are loving the freedom of the ps5 because there is no bottlenecks.
see if the xbox controller came with a set a batteries in the package maybe. you know who hates this option the most. the parents who just bought a 60 dollar controller gets to counter. mom i need batteries to. what doesn't come with them nope. 2 days later mom i need new batteries.
