@Sexycyber22: well it's good that not all the companies think like this, otherwise there would be even less polished games coming out.

So apparently according to the score this game is worse than 2k15? Even with the nearly 2 times bigger roster and improved creation suite? Strange...

I think the big mistake here is letting Robomodo develop this one as well. After RIDE and Shred why did they think it would be a good idea to have the same developer do the supposed "big return" of the classic franchise. This game should have been awesome, last THPS was around 13 years ago and all the others before that were awesome as well. Such a shame.

The graphics and animations look incredible, but judging from the review I guess that's about it. Shame. The only WWE game I have is WWE 13 and I got it mainly because of the Attitude Era and it's really fun. Probably the best WWE game in the last 4 years or so.

I'll always look back with nostalgia at the time I used to play. Started during TBC and quit just towards the end of WotLK, which I believe was the perfect time to stop playing because with Cataclysm they started taking the game in a whole new direction that I wasn't really sure I would like. I doubt I'll ever start playing again, right now with all the changes they've implemented it's probably going to be a whole different experience for me, don't get me wrong - I'm not one to hate change but I feel like the game was at it's best during the first two expansions.

@spacecadet25 @georgirobot That's exactly why all the wrestling games before the PS3/X360 came out were the best. I believe SvR 2006 was the last game to use the face buttons for all the moves and it was really fun and easy to learn. After that in SvR 2007 they introduced the new way of doing the moves with the analog sticks which I'm not really a fan of to be honest and the reversal fests became even a bigger problem (it was already a bit of an issue in 2006).

For some reason ever since the seventh generation of consoles, WWE games just couldn't hold up to the ones for the PS2. Smackdown vs RAW 2006 for example was a fantastic game and pretty much all the games that would follow in the franchise just weren't that good in my opinion. They changed up control schemes, the gameplay, crowd interaction etc. but also brought along a lot of issues. I don't know if the PS4/XONE version will be noticeably different in terms of content/gameplay but I hope they managed to use the bigger power of the new systems to make the game worth playing, otherwise this once great franchise is going downhill pretty quickly.

Well that's...disappointing. I hope the next gen version is much better.
