My wild guesses for unlockable characters would be: Daisy, Birdo, other Earthbound characters, Kind Dedede, Donkey Kong Jr., Wind Waker Link, Paper Mario, the Baby Mario Bros. as a single character (in the style of Ice Climbers), and maybe some other memorable Pokémon
