its a SPDIF port... quote from the manual "Connects your computer to a TV. Also connects digital audio-capable devices using the TV/digital audio adapter cable." so does that mean i need to buy cables directly from Dell? Its a 7-pin laptop video connector (Mini-DIN)

So I want to connect my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1520) to my Stereo Receiver and then to Speakers of course. The laptop has a S-Video / SPDIF output in the back that I believe will allow me to use a specific cable to speakers. I also want to play music through my speakers and then through the Headphone jack play everything else. It seems that Dell has software that will do that and I will use WinAmp to send the sound through that specific port.

The question is: Will I be able to use this connector from RadioShack to connect my Laptop through the S-Video port to my Stereo Audio (Left and Right)?
