Just watched part one and it was sooo boring and dragged waaay too much with nothing really happening. Almost fell asleep at two times lol and I like sci-fi movies.

We all know that developing and maintaining these networks is a free endeavor made by unpaid volunteers!! /s And yet they still offer free online play to the f2p games and its not like there isnt a subscription driven online games on PC like let me think... oh yea - the biggest mmo atm WoW. There are arguments to be made for and against all platforms so the best thing one can do is vote with one's wallet.
@xgalacticax: lol and I wish people would develop a common sense and understand that whenever "free with this subscription" is mentioned it actually means "no extra cost on top of the subscription". Nothing on the internet is truly free - you pay a fee to access the net itself and have to buy a device in order to connect. ;)
lol thats some next level of greed on Epic's part - they rather have 100% of nothing than 70% of millions per month. I wonder why Epic didnt go after MS, Sony and Nintendo for not allowing alternative stores on their consoles? Yea cause that would mean the end of ForKnite on consoles as well. Epic's publicity stunt failed and now they resort to crying and pointing fingers while all this was their fault to begin with :D
"Success is not illegal," is right on point! In this case Apple did nothing wrong - its their platform developed and maintained by them for over a decade and that costs a loot of cash in support. Epic decided to break the platform rules and started crying like a little brat (even trying to weaponize their mainly kiddy fanbase against apple to try and bully them online). If they are so aNti mOnOpOl why not release an Epic Phone with Epic's own OS and ecosystem and see how that goes lol
@bloodbornelore: Please read again what I said. :) I said "software services" as in anything resembling a modern OS with apps, modern online infrastructure and subscriptions that makes sense. This is what this article is about. I didnt say anything about games. Also having hardware gimmicks doesn't always mean actual useful features (selling cardboard? lol).
"You're unlikely to ever see any modern or forward thinking service on the Switch" - there I fixed it for you. ;) Nintendo may have a 100 hardware gimmicks and experiments, but on the software side and services they are stuck in the past.
@cappy: Of course I've played it. More than enough to see how clumsy and unpolished its gameplay, abilities and mechanics feel. It plays like an alpha indie game, not one pretending its AAA. It is essentially a pre-alpha Division in Space mixed with the gore of Gears and the abilities of Destiny.
