Well it's all a matter of opinion; but I'd say they are definitely up there, and they are definitely the most influential band of all time (Not counting early blues musicians.)
For those of you who hate Muse, try hecking out one of their older albums such as Origin of Symmetry, it completely destroys their most recent album Black Holes and Revelations.
