You are the only person I have seen mention this movie. It is one of my favorites and the soundtrack is awesome! Another one of my all time favorites also happens to star Guy Pearce and has a killer soundtrack is The Proposition. Have you seen it?

I live in the Texas hill country and we have an epidemic of cyclists who come out here to ride in the beautiful surroundings of nature. They are out here every day of the week but on weekends it gets really bad with groups of up to 20+ riding around in thier spandex body suits with little regard to vehicles. Being the hill country it can be very dangerous for them due to the majority of roads being 2 lane country roads with speed limits of at least 40mph. Just the other day a cyclist was hit and killed and in the police blotter of the local paper there was complaints for multiple cyclists almost getting hitting by multiple vehicles due to the fact that they take up the entire lane on hills where the view is limited. I almost ran down two myself going around a bend at 50mph and the idiots were not only taking up the entire lane I was in but also riding on the center stripe. So how many of these idiots are going to have to get run over before something is done? If you have to ride a bike because it's your only means of transportation to get from point A to point B then I don't have a problem with it but if you are some knucklehead out putting yourself at risk for some exercise then I'm not going to shed a tear for you. The streets aren't there for you to get some exercise.

The Holographic Universe model would solve most of the problems of quantum mechanics, and for those that think the idea is absurd intellectual giants such as David Bohm and Karl Pribram believe that the theory just may well be true. There is an excellent book on the subject called The Holographic Universe by Michael Talbot, read it you dolts.

The majority of the information used as justification for the invasion of Iraq, like Saddam was in possession of mobile chemical weapons labs, came from a single source, an Iraqi defector, and guess what... he made it all up and even bragged about the fact.

radicalcentrist

The information used to say that he was actually developing WMDs did come from a defector, but here's the fact that's rather inconvenient to you folks: He was developing WMDs. He had an anthrax program prior to the war, in clear, material violation of UN mandates.

Here is the fact that's rather inconvenient to you... propaganda was effectively used, as it usually is in wars. You asked what misinfomation was used for the Iraq war and you have been given it.

[QUOTE="l4dak47"]Fvck no. Iran can have all the nukes it wants. They haven't shown a willingness to invade nations based on misinformation like the U.S. have. radicalcentrist
Really? What was that misinformation that founded the invasion of Iraq?

Was it that Saddam was a genocidal dictator? No, that was actually well-established.

Was it that he was in material violation of numerous UN resolutions to verifiably disarm and to not develop biological or chemical weapons? No, that was also well established. Saddam did not provide adequate evidence to UN inspectors that he did not possess biological or chemical weapons. He did not provide an adequate accounting of the thousands of liters of VX gas or the tons of anthrax that he produced after the Gulf War. While he produced over 9500 liters of VX, he could only account for about 6,000 liters. And, as post-invasion surveys confirmed, he did have a WMD program, in material violation of UNSCOM resolutions.

The majority of the information used as justification for the invasion of Iraq, like Saddam was in possession of mobile chemical weapons labs, came from a single source, an Iraqi defector, and guess what... he made it all up and even bragged about the fact.

Humorous yet sad and all true. Interesting theory is that the tower that was used for Telsa's free wireless energy device was foreclosed in 1908 and Telsa tested the device just before all was lost and the result of the test was the Tunguska event. The time frame fits and what better place to test the wireless transmission of massive amounts of energy than a remote area, but not too remote that the results couldn't be verified and documented.
