I have a dual 560 Ti setup right now and even though i have it wouldnt recommend it. Yes i can play games very well but theres the matter of power consumption(have to have a big psu), heat(it gets hot in the summer where i live to the point where there are days i cant turn on my pc) and there are some games that just dont like it. The only reason i ended up doing it was because it was cheaper to get 2 560's than it was to get a 580 at the time(got my other 560 off a friend for cheap). So i would say get a 670 instead

but they are too small. :P Plus i dont think you can get the Abarth in Canada yet. all i can say is im saving more than half my gas budget with the Mini than the car i had before lol and twice as much fun.

I was recently looking at the K90 in the store and I noticed that the function keys and the windows keys were not actually mechanical. They were rubber dome. I was just curious as to why they would do that.

Right now im using this keyboard. I like it a lot since it doesnt have a number pad and I have space constraints and it has blue or black switches(mine has blues). Plus it also has n-key rollover which is nice considering it was fairly inexpensive(80$).

because it saves them money and allowes them to price it better. plus those keys are used pretty infrequently.

they screwd up big time iwth the delete key not mechanical. Also I use the f keys fairly often. People who want to play like frets on fire will have to skip.

i use the function keys quite a bit too thats why i was surprised. when you pay that much for a keyboard(130$), you should be getting consistancy.

No proper new PC build until the new year so my new laptop will suffice (it was $470 so don't expect much, although it can game reasonably well as it doesn't just have integrated crap):

i3 2310M
4GB RAM
1GB GeForce GT 540M
750GB 7200rpm hard drive
13.3" LED display (1366x768)

It's not going to destroy games (The Witcher 2 MIGHT get 25fps on low settings) and that 9 hour battery life kind of disappears when you launch Portal 2 and it switches over to the 540M card, but it's portable, cheap, and has a video card. And Source and other less demanding games run quite smooth at high settings and native resolution.

This also falls into my own little criteria of not paying any more (or much more) than $500 for a laptop, as getting a gaming specific one is a ridiculous waste of money. A small, portable laptop is best paired with a good desktop, as you can buy both for what a fancy gaming laptop would cost you (and that laptop will overheat often and not be upgradeable).

Isn't it a great laptop? I have the previous model of that laptop(the 3820TG i5 480m/AMD 6550m) and they do perform amazing. You can run Battlefield 3 at 30fps on low at native resolution. I just can't believe you picked it up for so little. That's a great buy. The only thing I don't like about those is the throttling due to over heating(they included 2 separate heatsinks in the 3820). But as someone else was saying just change the thermal paste and it should help.
