It sounds interesting, but it also sounds 'as usual' like an interactive movie with limited gameplay. This, to me sounds like a 60€ movie with one base story and some minor different outcomes during gameplay. Definitely not worth the price of admission.
Quote from the article: "...All the while, there were occasional Heavy Rain-style prompts indicating buttons I needed to push..."
Fact is any move based on video games is going to be mediocre at best, for the same reasons Krawczyk mentions. We already know how the character looks and sound and putting an actor in it's place with a short story of 1h30min is bad.
We're used to atleast 8+ hours of watchign the char on scene and an 8h movie would be booring as hell.
Just from reading Inafune's lips and not understanding Japanese I got that he was talking about his favourite branding of tofu and how he likes to sleep in his futon. He mentioned nothing about gaming. He mentions at the end he will do a typical Japanese puppet show called Mighty No.9
Sure, what's the senior Xbox director gonna say. 'Buy Sony this year.'?
Microsoft should just shut up, do the best they can and prove everyone wrong with facts and not with pretty words. But they've gone so retarded the last 6 months with the XONE reveal that many people, me included, just don't have trust in them anymore.
So, I'm going with a PS4, skipping XONE this gen. Microsoft did too many mistake.
