@FooFighter145: ok so after a little research it turns out according to lucasfilm it is pronounced atat, so what about at-st? do we pronounce that atst? they even call them ehtee ehtees in the game. the only people ive ever heard call them atats are children who dont know what the letters stand for. Oh and I was wrong about that too its all terrain armored transport. anyway its symantics either way but I still think atat sounds stupid. Ima continue calling it an ehtee ehtee.

getting to the moon is easy in ksp.

here's 5 easy steps to orbit, from there its up to you to build a ship that can make it.

1- burn vertical to 10,000 M
2- turn 45deg
3- when AP (apoapsis) is over 70,000M cut engines
4- turn 90deg
5- 30 seconds before AP burn your engines at 90deg until orbit is achieved

to get to the moon you need to be orbiting the same direction, put your AP at about 45deg in front of the moon to intercept, from there its a matter of using maneuver nodes to establish orbit around the moon. there's plenty of youtube help out there if you want more in depth instructions.
