"Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Aladdin and Phoenix Wright. The story should use drug abuse as a plot device!"
This one could work.

"Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Ninja Turtles and NASCAR. The story should use regicide as a plot device!"
This one is pretty weird.

"Your challenge is to write crossover fanfiction combining Barack Obama and Rugrats. The story should use somebody misplacing their pants as a plot device!"
Ook...

[QUOTE="jsh020"]

[QUOTE="SoraX64"] After the first season and Kai I stopped watching, since Rei is just an OVA and I haven't gotten around to Umineko no Naku Koro ni yet.firefluff3

the ova wasnt that great. 2 comedy episode and 3 clever but underplayed alternite dimension episodes. and the final episode brings up anothe rlove interest that aparently exists. yah so apparently rena like keichi......ok are the writers just makeing everyone like him just becouse they can. just wait till the next season or play the psp instead of waiting for another season

Theres going to be a new season?! And apparently at the end of the first series they wanted rena to love keichii because in the manga she loved him instead of mion or something.

P.S, if anyone else will actually watch it, this is hardly a spoiler. Its almost impossible to give spoilers to higurashi.

As far as I know, there are no plans for another Higurashi season. But well.. there's still Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, although it's more like a spiritual succesor to higurashi. The anime is pretty meh, but I loved the Visual Novels.

[QUOTE="eldeku"][QUOTE="AHUGECAT"]

Wasn't near as bad, though. I am not against Mexicans coming here (they are cool people) just the illegals.

AHUGECAT

Agreed. While I understand the need of fellow mexicans to seek better life conditions over there in the USA, our government should focus on improving quality of life, rather than allowing citizens to risk their lives trying to cross the border.

Why should the USA do anything? People always complain that the USA is the "world police" or that we get into other countries too much, but when they are in trouble, who do they come to first? The USA.

The USA should worry about one country and one country only, and that is, the United States of America. God Bless the United States.

Sorry, I meant the mexican government (forgot to add that I'm from Mexico :P )

And to think these kind of actions are crossing over to America because of a lack of a border in the south.

AHUGECAT

Meh, you guys have had those actions before this. Don't blame.

[QUOTE="SaintLeonidas"]Wow people are really overreacting. There had been like what, 20 cases in the US? The 1300 and 81 deaths came from Mexico in areas that have no where near the hospitals, treatments and sanitation we have. CDC says just us basic flu prevention againest it like washing your hands and what not, I dont think there is any reason to flip out yet, I mean Avion bird flu was supposed to be the end of us all, and look what happened there.fanboy-buster

Oh COME ON!! It is not like we live among pigs, we have standards, the hospitals right now are crowded with people. We have the stuff coming from the US so it is not like we are just crossing our arms staring at the virus. And you know the big difference between avian flu and this one? The avian flu couldn't be passed from human to human, this one can!

Oh and BTW this is no the typical H1N1, this is a mutated strain of the virus which contains parts of the DNA of the Bird flu, Human flu, Euro, Asian and American pig flu.

And how do I know this? I live in the second most affected city and I am the son of one of the most prestigious doctor's in Mexico.

[QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"][QUOTE="WhiteSnake5000"]I don't believe the media. I believe what actually IS happening. A small outbreak that for the most part has been contained thus far. Tiefster

If you ask me it hasn't been contained at all.

Maybe not in Mexico but again substandard everything and some of the worst environments. Mexico is not the US or Canada, not anywhere close. We have our poor and have bad neighborhoods and regions but the worst of our worst does not compare to some of the conditions these people live in. I hate to make it sound like Mexico is a slight step above a place like Somalia but its pretty damn poor, a 10 minute ride outside of Cancun provides evidence of this, and don't even get me started on Mexico City.

I'll say it again: sure, several of the southern states in Mexico have bigger zones where people live in poverty. However, I wonder why some people make it sound as if we are all a bunch of uncivilized nomads.
