there seems to be a two thirds majority that it wasnt a flop.
still, it is still open

pfft, really?!
thats reather bad , even for a fat DS
the websites concerning the discontinuity probably couldnt be bothered contacting Nintendo.
if it sells less than 800 per week, then they are probably making about 800 per week. I do not no the figures(maybe write in and ask them...)
i probably should have made the question more clear when i first voiced it
rocky and nintendogamer, you both have valid points(and opinions). of course, it does help to have solid references. i may say that, but i never was good at debating, so ill let you two continue or just let it lie, whatever is going on. no solid winner yet.
The gameboy is good, and so are the later upgrades to it,but this isnt about them people. Nevertheless, everything should be discussed.
200 games? Wow thats dedicated. Too bad its to the wrong system though, hehehe. nah im kidding. the ps2 also has its merits. as does the xbox.
hmm.
I dont think it is dead, but it certainly has dissapeared from many game shops arouind my area. not completely, but where ps2 and xbox had/have 6/7 rows each, gamecube only had one. It will only die when nobody refuses to play it. and so i dont get into any arguements, that is an OPINION.
youlot arefull of good points
ive been with my n64, and it was the first console i got, so i didnt really notice the 3d, but now that you mention it, it really is quite amazing.
oops, got more to write, but cant do it now, in a rush
I loved Rogue Leader, Melee, Windwaker, Metroid prime 1 and 2, starfox adventures actually surprised me, the visuals were top notch and smoothe and it was a pretty decent action adventure game, paper mario, pikmin 1 and 2, Crystal Chronicles, and some others. These were all very enjoable exclusive games.
Sparticus247
I have all of those games except paper mario and rogue leader
maybe the reason i couldnt find anything was because it had all sold out.... and look everywhere, and see ps2 and xbox, hmmm.....
only say that, because i could never find games after the first year.
i have a collection of something like 20 games for it, and i would only say that three of them were bad(i cant decide what was the best-Zelda TP or Melee)
nintendo has always been exclusive in that it has its games and noone else does(mario, zelda, etc) which i think is why most people got it. The xbox had better graphics i think , and the ps2 had the best controller(xbox was way too chunky) and the gamecube was for its exclusive games.
ive always been a nintendo fan, and always will be, just need a bit more funding before i get the wii *sigh*.
it seemed that anywhere iwent the gamecube wasnt there. in all of the shops , there were no games.
i reckon it was great, but im not sure what was happening.
