Some legendary villains are known for originality like Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mother Brain. Some villains that are very good make you HATE them by playing with your emotions and tricking you, like the Prophets in Halo, Liquid Snake, Barron Praxis (Jak 2), Ares (GoW), and Loghain (Dragon Age). The BEST make you fear them. You dread even facing them. Only few can achieve this like Xehanort from KH and Sephiroth come to mind. The best games w/ good stories have the greatest villains.
