ok as gamers we need to stand up to this **** ok so this is what happened. i was just watching the A-Channel news(ontario) and i was looking to see some news about a recent murder in my town. so anyway im sitting there watching and the news and a report comes on relating to the disaperence of Brandon Crisphttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtRv8WnLOHg. who allegedly left home due to his parents taking his xbox away. anyway so this is what got me. so they run a report saying about how addcting video games arehttp://www.atv.ca/home/news_63481.aspx. ok so read the first two headlines. now that pisses me off. so in the report they had some doctor come on and talk about video gamers often share the same addiction levels of cocaine users and that video games are more addictive than cocaine... BULL this pisses me off very much. Next they talk about how games like call of duty 4 make us mimic actions performed in the game. BU:: Next they said that online gaming contains predators. BULL!! ok so as gamers we need to stand up to this poo i have sent an email to the news station and am very pissed off. it's people like these that did not grow up with gaming who do not understand and think of only the bad and not the good. Once they all die and we become the prime generation this poo won't happen. THIS IS ****ing BULL!!
