World of Warcraft probably falls under that list, as I constantly come back to it each holiday and never get tired of it. I think that were I to play it continuously I would be bored of it by now though. Aside from WoW, I can play Harvest Moon: Back to Nature and Animal Crossing: Wild World again and again.

Jedi Knight II is a great game, none of my friends have played it though, which is a shame. It's definitely my favourite Star Wars game. I would say that another example of an old game that can measure up today is the original Half Life. I've been playing this quite a bit recently, and I'm loving it. I decided to get it after completing Half Life 2, and while graphically it is outdated, the gameplay alone can more than measure up to its contemporary counterparts.

But quite often the side activities are barely more complex than 'collect a hundred of these token-things', so the main story is the only real part of the game with any merit. I find it incredibly dull going back and searching through old levels to find stuff that you have missed, but if the side missions offer something different, then usually I'll have a go at them.

The game itself was flawed, but I thought that Killzone captured the atmosphere of a warzone perfectly.

Think that it was either the original 2D Prince of Persia or Return to Zork. Ah, nostalgia.

If you're willing to look into older generations then I would recommend Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and the original Silent Hill game. Had a lot of fun with both of them.

I don't think that you would be able to pick up one of the older FF games and get the same gaming experience as someone who played them upon release. I think that if you're new to the series it would be better starting off with one of the newer games (FFX would be a good choice), as you can get a taste of the gameplay without being put off by outdated graphics.

I cheated on a couple of games and regretted it. It's much more satisfying to play through a game without them. Now I'll only use cheat codes if I've completed the game already, just to get a bit of extra fun out of them.

Effectively the PlayStation 2's life is over. It's a shame, but as more and more people upgrade to current-gen consoles, then there isn't really much profit left to be made with PS2 games.

I thought it was a great game, definitely one of the best Star Wars games that there is.
