@gleencross: Obviously you need to go look up what the word rant means. I am presenting my opinion based on the facts given to me, but like the other poster that wanted to down vote me just because dared to have an opinion based on my experience, you are unwilling to accept reality. 343 has done a terrible job and most of the fan base agrees with me. That is why 343 is trying to "soft reboot" the franchise; to screw up the original Halo also.

Just to put it in perspective; IF Ubisoft announced a new Splinter Cell game tomorrow and made it look like Fisher was going to be the bad guy and this new character was going to have to stop him; you would at least be interested to see how this works out. BUT at launch turns out the marketing for the game did not represent the actual story of the game; the story is about Fisher with the other character thrown in there to extend the run time of the game, YOU would be very upset with Ubisoft. And you would probably be very leary of spending $600 plus on a new system just to play a continuation a game that lied to you the entire time leading up to launch.
