Since I created this forum, I guess that I will go first. Obviously. For me it is Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. A wonderful game, unknown to many, though it is quite possibly the best RPG of all time. Most reviews for said game are hit and miss. Very few critics that offered their opinions never stuck with it for more than 6-12 hours. To which DD: DA is a 100+ hour game, with the Dark Arisen expansion, it adds even more time, enemies, weapons, etc. Your first battle with a Chimera wondering the woods, or another large fantastical creature is just jaw dropping. You can scale/climb such beasts, like an Ogre or Cyclopes and start stabbing them in the eye/eyes. The 9 different classes and total difference between classes, and special skills are a work of pure genius. All Armours and Weaponry are visable on the characters you create. Tons of quests, looting, challenge. Very Skyrim-esque with no bugs or glitches. The weapon and armour upgrading is done right. There is very little to complain about in such a beautifully crafted game, such as Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen. I know that it is on PS3 and 360, atleast. It's acouple years old, and still perfect, in my book. Alright, there is my opinion. What is your favorite RPG and why?
