I just hope no one from Cnet or Eidos tries to off Jeff. Remember Gunpei from Nintendo and the "mysterious incident" with the car accident?

[QUOTE="_BlueDuck_"]Something for you all to consider.. this is CNet's **** to clean up, not necessarily Gamespot's. Gamespot is made up of editorial teams of writers, not corporate junk. Trying to destroy anddelegitimize Gamespot is doing an injustice (Just as CNet apparently did an injustice towards Jeff)to the writers who still work here, many of which (if not all) have just as much integrity as Jeff._BlueDuck_

You can't support an arm of the company and expect the parent to change. Cnet owns Gamespot and for this travesty their hand is as large as anyone else's. 4 am on the east coast too, nice to see such a strong showing still.

I know its a tough situation to be in here, however, just think if you were a hard working, honest reviewer working here. Come to work tomorrow morning and learn the news that your workplace is now a laughing stock and anything you write is going to be discredited. That would just plain ol' be horrible.

It just turned 5 am here. I was supposed to be writing my term paper that was due... 5 hours ago. Oh well only 2000 more words to go.

Write your paper on this situation, and make it a Jeff Tribute.

If I can somehow tie Jeff into Operation Iraqi Freedom's effects on world security, I will.

Relate Eidos and Cnet to terrorism and Jeff is one of the casualties.

YES, GREENLIGHT GO!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, jeff is going to be fine. Watch IGN roll out the red carpet for him.MarkSmith

The thing is...I don't like IGN. Most of the stuff you can't access unless you pay for it.

Watch Cnet come up with some bs like..."He left for personal reasons." or "He wanted to pursue new horizons." Pure BULL

Guys, I just read all the articles and I don't think it is confirmed at all... I think I was too quick to go ahead and made those "viva la Jeff" tags. I mean, right now, all we have is a rumor!

Anyone has any more credible source?

yian

Didn't Frank Provo say something on a forum that hinted very strongly that this was confirmed. And Bob C. actually made a blog post about this madness.

I just think there should be a mass exodus of Gamespot editors. Ryan, Alex, Tor....everyone. They should start up their own site (yeah I know this is unrealistic), and go for broke.

Heh, it is happening all over the place because my console that I just got back is not displaying any video. At first the visuals were blurry (like plastic wrap over the screen) after a few minutes of playing. Now there are no visuals or sound at all.

Okay guys, this is really bothering me and I need some help/advice.

I've just gotten my 360 replaced, for the second time, because of the three red lights. So now that I got it back, I decided to pop Gears of War into the system. I started playing most of it, then after a bit of loading the video became way screwed up. It looked like cyran wrap was put all over the screen. I thought it might be the disk that had the problem because I've been getting disc read errors (but I've disk doctored it so it should be fine). So I go to the dashboard, and the cyran effect stays on the screen for a while. I'm starting to get weirded out. So I tested Halo 3, and after a bit of playing the same thing happened again. So I'm thinking that the console they sent me is what is causing the problem. It also happened when I just had the dashboard running and typing this. I'm running 1080p using the component cables. My old 360 never had this problem while I was playing, so it has to be this Xbox they sent me. Am I going to have to call them up and send it in again? Or what? This has become really annoying with microsoft doing this to me.

Here are some images of the before cyran and then it just turning into cyran style.

What is going on here?
