^^^^

Guy above claptopris ( hey it was long time between clicking reply and typind ;))

What resolution do you game at?

If its 2048x1536 or you have a monitor capable of that and nothing less will do

Then i reccomend SLI or Crossfired 7800GTX (future ULTRA part) or R520

If not then A single 7800GTX should be more than enough

Slightly slower than the 6800GT on average

If theres a small price difference ie $20 get the 6800GT if not get the X800XL (6800GT is a better overclocker)

.Its the best card you can get for the price and the 2nd best card out for AGP slots at the moment.

Rocketman1675

X850XT-PE>X800XT-PE>X850XT>6800ULTRA>X800XT+6800GT

:P 6th

Although half those cards are out of production

*Slightly updated Pricing*

6800? if it is the vanilla version and much more expensive than the 6600GT dont get it.

Its performance is not that much better

However the 6800GT or ULTRA are a lot better

(did you know you cant have it followed on the line below by its its `innapropriate`)

Hi, im looking for a ATI Radeon X800 graphics card, which PCi-E card will be the best to go for? Theres alot of other companies selling these cards, which company is the best to purchase from? And also I dont mind if its Platinum Edition, XL, XT or whatnot lol aslong as it uses a single PCi-E slot ill be happy :) Im from the UK btw so any sites selling these cards from the states are pretty much pointless for me. Thanks in advance.

also whats the recommended PSU for this card?
Tiamat_Zero

im in the UK to but doing it in pounds wouldnt of helped many people here (i will add pounds later)

Well it depends on your budget the X850 Series use dual slot coolers though (i suppose i'll have to stick that in too)

So probably the XL i use overclockers.co.uk and will take all my prices from there for uk

I think 350 400watt quality PSU ie Antec

**UPdated PCI-E to include UK pricing

*Added company names
*Added X850XT-PE
*Added 9800pro
*Added 6600 plain
*Added "Differences between X850XT and the XT-PE"

Im trying to keep it reasonably simple

The platinum edition Slightly higher clocks
