@zacho3to: Can only speak for myself but I didn't buy the game so that I could play it 5 or 10 years from now. I bought it to play now. When you look at the cost versus the hours I'll put it into, it's pretty cheap entertainment.
And if you sit on a game and don't make it available, say for instance SimCity from the SNES, are consumers supposed to just search garage sales and flea markets for old carts and systems to be able to play the game?
How about, if you own the rights to an old game and don't make it available to the public for a price, you shut your trap when people find ways to play it.
