Specifically on the next 2 Saturdays I'll work starting from noon, so I'll only have around 3 hours during the morning.

I've just uploaded a Speedrun on Impossible. 3h53. Could have been faster if I would have avoided some mistakes along the way.

Maybe I'll try to improve the run someday :P

Feel free to check out my channel as well: http://youtube.com/user/czeuch.

Hi! I have been playing AC Multiplayer since ACR and my favorite mode is Deathmatch. I have played more than 300 sessions only in AC3 and I wanted to share a bit of my experience on this mode. Please feel free to make any critic or comments. 1) Separate players from NPCs: * If there are only a few players, keep in mind their skins. It will be easier to mentalize PCs because the game will generate too many different NPCs. * If there are 6 or more players, analyze and recognize NPCs. There should be around 2 to 4 different skins, and it is easy to check them in the first 5 to 10 seconds of the game. The ones will more copies are NPCs. 2) Use the Approach Meter. Many people rush at their target. In most cases, this sucks. When you run or climb a big icon appears over your character's head and this makes your pursuer/target's life easier since they can lock you easily. Try to act like an NPC. 3) Mentally list missing varieties. Focus on getting variety bonus ASAP. Don't try to make only Silent or Incognito until you get Extreme Variety. See a target stunned by his target? Run to get Reckless and Grounded. To do so, have an ability set for variety. Here is the list of bonuses for Deathmatch: Independent (can be done by yourself) Reckless Discret Silent Incognito Poison Aerial Acrobatic Focus Hidden Grab Pistol Execution Stun Animus hack Dependent (situational) Poached Savior Revenge Lured Chain Ambush Grounded Intercepted Ground finish 4) The sets below are recommended for Deathmatch but keep in mind that you should make that better suits you. This is what I have been using for a very long time (since ACR) and it is been very useful: Main set: Disguise - being an NPC for a few seconds is very useful both for killing and stunning. Smoke Bomb - no comments. Good for attack (get Focus bonus) and defense (get a clean stun). Throwing Knives - another ability good for attack and defense. Remember: don't run or fast walk near the knived target. Overall Cooldown - helps you to use your 3 abilities more often. Blender - mandatory for Deathmatch. Pursuer will usually pause when you are in a blend group which has a copy of your character. 3x Silent 250 Kill Streak - Easy to get. Clean stuns counts toward this streak. If you think you can use 5 Silent 550, go for it but don't be too greedy. If you are not so good on Silent kills, go for the normal ones (5 Kills 250 or 7 Kills 550). 2x Score Loss Streak - helps you to get back your position when you are having troubles. Try to use Poison on this kill. For my variety set, I use Poison instead of Disguise (could be in Smoke Bomb's place) and Pistol instead of Throwing Knives. 5) When using Throwing Knives, don't run or fast walk. Walk normally when close to your target/pursuer. This way the target/pursuer won't be able to reach you. 6) Know the maps, use them at your advantage. See someone passing behing the little shack while in the blend group beside it in Fort Wolcott? Lock it and climb the shack to get an Aerial kill. See someone on the roof of the circular building in Virginian Plantation? Try a Grab kill for amazing 450 points. Try to stay blended in a still blend group for a moment to see if your target will come close by to get a Hidden kill. 7) When possible, blend into moving groups. This helps to get clean Hidden Poison kills or stuns. It is more difficult to lock on you to stun/kill in a moving crowd 8) Avoid to use Disguise when whispers are too loud. Also try to activate Disguise behind obstacles in order to avoid detection. 9) When tailing someone or when blending, don't press kill/stun button (square in PS3) unnecessarily because this action triggers an animation that will give you out. The character will stretch its arm like trying to reach its weapon. 10) When blended in a still group and you see your pursuer fast walking torwards you, lock it and wait. Might be it will be lured if you use Blender or Morph. But it is better to guarantee, so as soon as the stun icon appear, press it. The timing must be perfect, before the pursuer press the kill button. Against inexperienced players, this will earn you a clean stun. Worst case scenario you will get 100 points with an Honorable Death. 11) If you are blended in a still group and your target is closing in, don't leave the blending position to go forward and kill your target. Wait until it passes by you. Leaving a group to go toward your target will get its attention. Waiting will also get you better kill point due to the approach meter which will be more filled and the chances of a Hidden kill increase. For more details about Multiplayer tips, I strongly recommend to watch loomer979 (http://www.youtube.com/user/loomer979) serie called "Templar training" (http://www.youtube.com/channel/SWyyuLgdkSWRY). The videos were made for ACR but 90% still counts for AC3. These videos helped me a lot to improve my assassination skills :) I hope some content of this post will help to get better positions during Deathmatch (and even other modes) and also improve your Abstergo Rank.
