No offense dude, but you could hardly call it wasting when a 360/PS3 can play games in great quality, slightly less then a high end rig that'd cost you twice, three, or four times as much as a next-gen console. Plus all the greatest games are on the consoles. I like PC gaming, I just don't have a ridiculous amount of money to spend on it. I don't mind if Crysis looks as bad as it possibly can, just so I can play it. I just wanna play it because it's one of the good PC exclusives out there.

*Waits for mainstream tab to magically work* Sorry, but I'm not going to spend more then $300 on a graphics card, when I can spend a little bit more and get a WHOLE gaming console that can play games and slightly lower qualities then the highest end uber PC set up. My rig is decent, 2.0 Dual Core, 2 GB of RAM, the comp is new so the motherboard is good, and hopefully sometime soon the highest end 8600 card I can buy. No dual-SLI crap though, I hate that stuff. It'll all look great on the 20' Widescreen I got off the Dell Small Business site. The way it worked out, I literally got it for free. :D Wish I had the money to get an 8800 though, the prices dropped WAY down on those cards, and they perform the best for their price, even compared to the high end stuff.
