As dumb as it might sound, even though the game works on another 360 and is in good condition, have you tried playing with a different ME disc?

Didn't work...crashed during a cinematic.

The Issue: Mass Effect (1) is consistantly crashing my 360. I make a character, get to Eden Prime, play a little bit, and it crashes the entire console. I've made new characters with the same result. I've made a hard save on Eden Prime and played from that point, but it still crashes a few minutes into playing.

Itmight corispond to videos? Like when the one guy runs out and gets shot by turrets, or when the girl is running away from the cyborg guys.

Specifics:

- The CD is in near perfect condition.

- I've had the game for a couple years, and actually played it way back when I initially got it. I had a character at level three, which means it didn't always crash.

- I have tried deleting the entire Mass Effect data off my harddrive, and it didn't seem to change anything.

- I just tried the game out on a friend's 360, and it worked fine. No crashes. (This is why I posted in the 360 forum, and not in the ME forum)

- **NEW** I played Skyrim for ~30 minutes prior to trying the cache suggestion. No problems.

- **NEW** I literally just cleared my 360's cache. And the exact same thing happened. It froze during the cinematic where the one guy gets shot by some flying turrets. I am very depressed.

Any help or tips is welcome at this point.

Lasted a little longer. But still crashed.

I think I deleted all ME data. And I'm trying it again. There didn't seem to be any updates though...
