Seriously with the PS3's akward controler for FPS games, it fails hard in competiton with the 360 pad. I understand that UT3 has adopted the KB/M for it's gameplay. Sony's and other developers need to utilize this for the PS3 because their joysticks are shameful. With that said, if you prefer the PS3 pad to the 360 pad (for FPS) you must have an akward grip.

Y'see, things like that really annoy me, I have been playing with the Dualshock series since the age of 4, and they are FINE, only when the 360 came out did people start to feel the need to complain about the DSs design.

The reason it's always stayed the same, is because it works, and I don't know anyone who has wished for a change.

no offense but you dont know many people then. The DS always gave me hand cramps it was so awkward to use. It clearly wasnt ergonomically designed and probably the only reason so many people stuck with it was because the PS2 was so popular.

What are u on about? U do know the ps2 was one of the best controllers ever made? It may not be the best now but it still is an awesome controller for anyone who has been so use to using it since the psx and ps2 days. I do understand why 360 owners would preffer the 360 controller but at the same time that controller sucks for madden in my opinion and the ps2 controller fits so many more games then the 360 controller. If anything the 360 controller is more fit for fps games then the ps3 controller but at the same time I find it more easy to navigate around the ds3 controller then the 360 controller because all the buttons are right there. I feel most games I play feel better on the ds3 controller and most fps games are better on the 360.

Well im down with it and if anyone has been following sony with the psx and ps2 and now ps3. If there is one thing alot of game sites never give sony credit for, that is coming up with new ideas in games. Yes I know Miyamoto and nintendo has always brang us the most innovation but at the same time so does sony. If not sony one thing is a true fact, sony never counts out new ideas in gaming from other small companies with ideas in games. I mean just look at the short time sony has been out with the ps3 and we already see all these different titles u wont find on 360. Seriously its crazy how open minded sony is when it comes to new gaming expiriences. Not just sony but also the studios they find with new ideas. Its always a cool thing to see something new and fresh.

Two units have had faulty USB ports and now the 3rd brand new unit is telling me that there is not enough power available for USB devices when I plug in the GH3 reciever *sigh*.

It's not the reciever as i've used it in another PS3 without problem.

Is this a problem others have come across or am I just the most unlucky PS3 owner in the world? And just to take the real **** out of me i've had a 360 from launch without a sniff of RROD.

Hmm sounds like it could be a faulty guitar. Ever thought of that? I mean come on 3 ps3's and still the same problem, I havent even had any of those problems and I use my ps3 to also charge my controllers and ipods. U should return your guitar and get a new one, that could be the problem.

He said the guitar worked fine on his 60gig PS3 but didn't work on the 40gig. Please read all of the post before posting.

Doesnt matter, shouldnt this be a better question asked in ps3 forums? I mean I also had my 360 disk scratch a few of my games on me but I wouldnt make a thread in system wars about that problem, that would be more of something id ask in a 360 forum.

As I said it was more for people to have a laugh with, i'm not looking for you to solve the problem. Don't you find it ironic that I have the most unreliable and the most reliable consoles and it is the 'reliable' one giving me all of the issues?

Well yeah I do because I havent had any of those problems. It just sounds like your an unlucky ps3 owner with those problems cause I rarely hear anything wrong with the usb ports for the ps3.

[QUOTE="micky4889"]Haven't they already started on the PS4? or do you mean after next gen they will fold?Tragic_Kingdom7

I didn't have any particular timeframe in mind. I'm just thinking that the next company to fold will be Sony.

It's not going to be Sony vs Microsoft vs Nintendo forever.

Well so far they seem to be doing ok in my eyes. I mean just look at the psp and ps2 go. Only thing holding back the ps3 is price. If anyone is going I think MS has a better chance of being that company since they only have one system for gaming which is the 360 with no handhelds. Also sony owns there own pc's and laptops and also has so many first studios and alot of second party support. I dont see it happening to sony.

Like I said, I don't think it matters if Sony is doing OK. I admitted as much.

I think the direction the company can go in matters more. After all, the Gamecube was the clear loser and now the Wii is the clear winner.

I don't think the fact that Microsoft has no handhelds has any bearing on anything, as a handheld can also be a distraction.

It's extremely likely that the Xbox brand hasn't peaked yet and that they have put themselves into a convenient position with third parties and the like. I think that's what matters most.

Not really, I think a company is alot stronger if they have a strong first and second party and also have great third party support which the ps3 does have. That gives u more depth because u also got exclusive games from your first and second party studios to help set u apart from the pack which sony and nintendo both have, If anything the weakest link out of the 3 with support is MS since they dont have as many first and second party support as sony and nitty does.
