@rogerexplodey: aha! Well remembered, I have played it bit don't think I finished it. Could be time soon to head back to that weird house an see it to the conclusion.
@rogerexplodey: totally, all about the mood. I really enjoyed exploring the vast world of Elden Ring but other times, a tight, focused rail like game hits all the right buttons. You mentioned Plaque tale, damn I love those 2 games! As mich as I enjoy a huge world, I also love getting stuck into very different titles like vanishing of Ethan Carter, dear Ester, or a favorite of mine, Soma.
@appariti0n: I'm not totally clue up on the lore but yeah, these characters scared next to nothing with thier written counter-parts other than thier names. Such a shame really, they had Cavil and an incredible story they could've told. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot, what a total waste.
@ironhorse89: i really enjoyed the last movie but I agree the orignal trilogy had a certain edge for sure. Mad Max 2 was just grim, brutal action! Damn, wana watch it tonight now!
@mogan: I love and respect your optimism. I'm not so sure though haha. Amazon will likely just throw thier bottomless bank account at it and see what sticks. Time will tell I guess
@boodger: perfect! I created my steam account so expect I'll order mine this weekend! Didn't even think about emulation? That's a really good bonus as tons of retros I'd love to check out again. Will definitely check out moonlight for game streaming aswell, internet at home is strong so could be another winner! Thanks for info.
@girlusocrazy: that sounds great! I see the 512gb oled model on steam is $689 and I'm real tempted! Can I ask though, as im not very computer literate these days, part of the reason I went to console gaming years ago. Is the Steam Deck more similar to how a console works? For instance, on my pc I remember the ball ache of downloading drivers, finding updates and sifting through huge amounts of settings to get games working. Is the deck more like 'download it, hit start and enjoy'?
