Yeah they can be a tricky bunch! I have a mate you works at my local store and he looks after me. But if I go in and he's not there I usually just walk out...
Well I didnt do anything for the game per say, but it was for the money to get the game. I hope that counts?
Last year around christmas time assassins creed came out and I really wanted it but it was like $120 AUD and I didnt have any money and parents wouldnt help me out. So I entered into this radio thing where they give away $200 bucks for doing some dumb thing, which they dont tell you until you say yes. So I rock up at the radio station place and they tell me I have to dress as santa and sing christmas carols for an hour in the local mall. Of course I did it and got the money and went straight to EB Games and bought it and took it home and played it. A friend of mine took pics which are good for a laugh. Needless to say, I didnt go to town for a couple of weeks after...

Yes. The console is only 70% off. There is still a red light on it. It's a waste of electricity. Same as in TV, don't just turn it off using the remote. :)
Aside from the power consumption will it injure my ps3? I used to leave my ps2 the same way as well...
Call the cops and the animal cruelty dudes, they should fix it all up and if not go and take matters into your own hands. If he's not doing anything bad to it then there's no harm done and he wont have anything to hide or be angry about...
The cutscenes are not that bad. These games have always had big cutscenes, its just in their nature they need to be there for the story to make sense. People seem to complain about MGS4 cutscenes without really thinking "well the 1st game was not as long nor did it have as much story, so naturally the cutscenes wont be as many. But this game is longer and deeper, so it would make sense to have more cutscenes". I cant really think of the word I want, but comparison might do the trick? I hope you know what I mean...
I actually had this happen a few times when I would show my mates my PSP, for some weird reason they all thought it was a speaker? They were shocked to find out that it was an analogue stick...
