Mouse and keyboard is the way to go for this game. It feels way more fluid to whip around corners and vents. I agree with the lack of a map being a problem. When I quit the game and came back the next day, I completely forgot where I was and where I had to go.
In the original, if you name your character A Dickwad it gets very funny when he introduces himself. But the best scene comes when he surprises the Avalanche crew on the train and everyone will scream "A Dickwad!" at once.

I'm personally not into COD anymore, but I'm glad a series has been entertaining a lot of players for more than a decade. That is what gaming is about. Finding that joy that get's you through the day. Am I wrong?
