You shouldn't be worry, because it wont help you, just take agood care for you PS3 and follow all the rules.

I download the new update and in less than 24 hours my console (a 60 GB model) don't want to read any disc, now I have to repair my console. There are a lot of people like me with the same problem (just look at the internet "PS3 don't read my discs" and you will see it). It supose to be a fabric problem; but in this last update, a lot of people are presenting this problem. Some of them after playing GTA 4 and 2 others games (There was a rumor that said that GTA 4and the others two games, that I don't remember the names, are kill' lectors, and I'm thinking that it could be true).

A lot of people who present the reading disc problem change the lector and problem solve; but, one person that present this problem, after downloading the last update, send his machine to repair and they change the disc, now his console play dvd, but not blue ray disc (his console now is on hold, untill they find a solution for that problem). So be carefull with the updates.

OH MY GOD!, After reading all this topic, now I know that I'M FAT. I'm 5'2" (I don't look so small) and I'm always between 105-107. Now, that I know people that have 5.4 and have 110, that let me know that I'm fat... I'm not skinny and I don't look fat... well, I could say that I'm in shape, in front, behind and in the middle with 22.5".

If you live in Peru, the best option is to buy a PlayStation 3. Yes, it is true, a lot XBOX 360 are broken and a lot more will. In Peru, it's difficult to send the console to repair and the cost of that it's to much. I used to have one (XBOX 360) and the first day I was always, thinking that I can't play for a long time, beacuse it could get very hot and I was always thinking about the 3 red rings of death and my fear comes true. I took it to the store and I said I don't want another console, I just want my money back and they did it (I just spend 4 days with the console). Now that I have the PlayStation 3, I'm more relax, The XBOX 360 didn't make noise. the PS 3 don't make any noise too, I spend like 16 hours playing it and don't get hot, it's amazing, the feeling of peaz that a good console could give you, when I had the XBOX 360, I couldn't be calm, because when I had 3 hours of playing, the console, was very hot (I know a lot of people that have the XBOX 360 and all of them get very hot and some of them got broken). The XBOX consoles have a great future, it could be the best console if it didn't have that problem, Microsoft has made a great job by getting great games for her console and a lot of them looks great, the only problem it's that they are selling consoles, that they and we all know that have problems that sooner or later it will cause the death of the console and the worst thing it's that they haven't been able to fix them, making us to spend more money for sending the console to repair, they lost money, too; but, they got good stadistic when the people who couldn't send their console to repair, buy a new one. At the end Microsoft anren't the bad people, the bad people are the one who buy the machine that knowing that the console have a problem of fabric and they buy it anyway and worst are the people who buy it after the first got broken. I know that, a lot of people who buy their XBOX 360 consoles think that it won`t happend to them and I know that it was cheap than the PS3 and that was the only console that they could afford and that if you machine got broken, you couldn't let all the games in your collection, that cost you more than the machine, out; so you have to buy another one... I know all that. The only think that I want to say it is our up to us to demand quality or the other consoles will come worst than the first.

Don't wait for a price cut or you will be all your live waitting. This is the best moment to have a PlayStation 3, all the games are coming out and they are all great. Could you imagine waiting for a price cut, it will get you months and when they law their price, there will be rumors about another price cut or even and eslim version. when a new console is new at the market, the better option it's to wait a few months, not only for the price cut... it just that there aren't to much games and because you never know if the console has fabric problems, like the XBOX 360. The PlayStation 3 has more thant a year, it doesn't broke, like the XBOX 360, and now a lot of games are out and others will come out.
