As a PS3 owner, I concluded before deciding which system to purchase that the 360 had superior visuals (which, a year ago, were far more than they were now). However, the Blu-Ray capability of the PS3 skyrockets it's value in my eyes, and thus, was the deciding factor for my purchase. That being said, the 360 came out well before the PS3 did, and hence will always be ahead in terms of visuals due to the precedence of game release (trial and error, if you will.) Both are excellent systems, and if you have a large HDTV as I do, are ridiculously fun to play on in surround sound.
