I want to be hyped up for it, really I do, but am I the only one who is a little disappointed theres no new faction or really anything other than a graphics update and refined gameplay i mean theres really nothing new? What do others think? Am i missing something?

I agree with you. When I first heard SC2 is coming, I was very excited since I loved the first one. After I read the press release I was disappointed for the same reasons - what I waited 10+ years to play a retread of the original with updated graphics and some new units. I expected more creativity; another army, or something.

Blizzard was able to update WC3 with new gameplay while still having it feel and act like a WC game. No wonder they shot down the SC mod for WC3 that was out a few years ago. It looked similar to what they are coming out with - SC in 3D.

You might want to try Guild Wars. Leveling is not a concern; it will happen naturally as the story is followed. And, there is an entire competitive side that is almost void of leveling and lots of fun.
