i have the d915dlvg(intel). when i scroll down to the part that tells me how many pci express ports i have it goes something like this

one pci-express x1

now i was a bit suspicious so i went to the d 195gux

it said one pci-express x16

now the video cards i was looking at they all said the

Interface : PCI express 16x

so does this mean that my pci express slot cant support it because its 1x and not 16x

lets say that i buy a $90 card and upgrade it in a year or should i spend $170 and buy a new card in 2.5 years.
