Planned DLC before the actual launch makes me think it's just cut or unfinished content that couldn't be wrapped up before the switch launch. Feels like the game should've been a Q4 holiday title but Nintendo wanted it rushed to move units.

It's one thing to continually support development of a game and churn out additional content, I'll pay for that. It's a completely different thing to hold out what should've been for a premium.

A middling mage unit with a paltry grind-it-out 'event' for materials, which was very poorly coordinated with other scheduled dungeons that are significantly more lucrative to the player.

Alim & Gumi dropped the ball on this one.

32GB is pretty standard internal storage for a gaming tablet.

Yeah, I'm in the overpriced camp, even the accessories are absurd (40$x2 controllers,70$ classic controller,90$ dock), no backwards compatibility and subscription online is a practice that just wont die.

Definitely not a 'launch' buy, and watch Nintendo pull a ''New' Switch' Elite Pro' in a year or two.

So long as somebody is willing to pay, it's justified. I refuse to pay for something after I've already purchased it, and as such I own and play exactly 0 pay 2 play titles. Never the less, companies can circumvent this type of protest. I purchased NwN2 brand spankin new for $59.99 when it was released. 1 bad hard drive and 2 motherboards later, I can no longer activate this game because I've installed it on too many pc's. This isn't a new concept for PC's but monkey see, monkey do. You don't own that software on the disk, you've merely bought the rights to enjoy it for however long the publisher deems fit.

dnrta. It's a simple answer - the less choices the player has, the less a developer has to account for when it comes to building the game. If there's only 1 choice, they need only program 1 outcome, saving time and resources. While we'd all agree this is not preferable, it certainly was very practical as little as a decade ago. Thankfully technology, skill and resources have all come a long way since.

I'd like more information on heat generation/dissipation. Certainly speed alone doesn't justify the price, but speed isn't the only measure of performance. I don't know about PS3, but my 360 could fry and egg, and that HD is external.

Reminds me of the sega channel. The cross-platform compatibility is it's greatest asset. It reads as though everything streams, so the only software you'd need is the OnLive player. The downside as mentioned by several here - is that you're renting instead of buying. I'd like to see something like this for personal use instead. Get the box and the player software and stream not from subscription servers, but from your own pc to yourself (or even your 'friends' list) wherever you are.

The built in functionality of the 360 to share with WMP11 or Media Centre is damaged crap. That's why nobody talks about it. TVersity or another program is practically required to get any functionality. The onboard sharing simply won't communicate with it's microsoft counterpart. A thumbs down for that eh? Google it then. 360 media sharing with windows is unreliable garbage. The problem was never resolved and MS doesn't care in the slightest.
