VT's receivers had some big drops down the stretch, and that was the difference in my book, WR play.

WOW! Taylor is not greater than Moore. The fourth quarter easily showed Moore was better. Heck the final 5 minutes of the game showed that.  Moore puts the ball where only HIS receiver can get it (probably why he only had 3 interceptions last year), Taylor threw a lot of passes that could have been picks because they were under thrown (BSU's secondary never turned around to look for the ball, causing a lot of pass inference calls). Moore also doesn't get sacked too much because he gets rid of the ball (2 sacks last night almost double what he had last year). Taylor is definitely a dual threat, but he is almost like Krap (Nevada QB). He can run and he can throw decently. Moore is one of the smartest QBs in CFB right now.

My two cents: sloppy special teams on both sides, Boise's secondary is missing Wilson (but they will be ok), Any thoughts on VaTech's flea flicker (besides, lol)? See, Boise can win big games without trick plays, Wyoming will not be overlooked.  NTG? if there are 2 undefeated AQs, no. 1 undefeated AQ, maybe. No undefeated AQs, probable.

I am excited, for now, for Boise's move to the MWC.  Finally out of the WAC.  I can accept a loss from the top teams of the MWC, but not a single team from the WAC.

I still don't think the conference realignment is over.  If it is done for this year, I think there will be more movement in about 3-5 years from now.

You are correct sir.  But I will go even bolder. It won't stay the same after 1 week.   Seeing that this guys #2 and #5 play on the first weekend.  But of course, most polls come out monday. So there might not be any changes at all.

Why does everyone want to pimp VaTech so hard to start every season? You'd think they would've learned by now.

Same reason they are hyping Boise so much. To make the "casual" fan think the VaTech vs. BSU game is the best match up on the first weekend. Don't get me wrong, it's a good match up. I would still think it was a good match up even if Boise and VaTech were Top 15 teams.

I still have mixed feels about BSU ranked so high. Yeah, they are returning 20 of 22 starters (ESPN isn't even keeping track of this.  They keep saying 21 of 22 starters. We lost Wilson to the draft and another to permentant injury). All that should mean is Boise should (and will) beat up the WAC again.  I keep thinking Boise will get BYU syndrome (get ranked high, then lose).
